Welcome To Jin Shin Jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu® physio-philosophy is an art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. Born of innate wisdom and passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth, the Art had fallen into relative obscurity when it was dramatically revived in the early 1900's by Master Jiro Murai in Japan.

After clearing himself of a life-threatening illness, Master Murai devoted the rest of his life to the research and development of Jin Shin Jyutsu, gathering insight from a range of experiences and resources, including the Kojiki (Record of Ancient Things). The resulting knowledge of Jin Shin Jyutsu was then given to Mary Burmeister, who brought it to the United States in the 1950's.

Mary Burmeister began teaching the Art to others in the early 1960's, and today there are thousands of students throughout the United States and around the world. Read More

Dear friends we want to alert you to changes in the acceptability of CEU's from Energy work modalities, that are being initiated by Massage boards in several states.  Below is info on forthcoming changes in PA.  On July 25th AZ state Massage Board will be debating the same topic at their HQ. We suggest you attend, to get your voice heard.

Classes in Exempt Modalities Will Not Accepted for PA Continuing Education After 2017 The Pennsylvania State Board of Massage Therapy has issued a statement that classes in practices/modalities that are excluded from licensure under section 13 of the Pennsylvania Massage Therapy Law will not be accepted as continuing education (CE) after the 2017 license renewal.  Such classes will be acceptable toward your 24 hours of CE when you renew your massage license in 2017, but they will not be accepted as CE for your 2019 renewal, or thereafter. Click here to read the statement from the Board on this issue (see paragraph numbers 2-4). The practices/modalities that the Board is referring to are: (1) The practice by an individual while performing reflexology. (2) The practice of an individual who uses touch, words and directed movement to deepen awareness of existing patterns of movement in the body and to suggest new possibilities of movement, while engaged within the scope of practice of a profession with established standards and ethics. (3) The practice of an individual who uses touch to affect the energy systems, acupoints, Qi meridians or channels of energy of the human body while engaged within the scope of practice of a profession with established standards and ethics.
