Zoom Study Groups with Jin Shin Jyutsu Faculty

WE ARE ONE: Deepening our Connection to JSJ and Each Other.

Join us (the International Jin Shin Jyutsu Faculty) as we create space to study, discuss and develop our community. We invite you to Zoom Study Groups beginning Monday, July 6th, at 11AM EST (New York time). Study Groups are currently offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Small study groups, for a fee of $20 will be presented in English with rotating instructors. Each session, lasting for one hour, will have a topic and time for discussion. See below.

Zoom Study Group Details:

  • Sessions offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • 11AM -12PM (noon) EST (New York time), Zoom waiting room opens at 10:45 am
  • Participants must have completed a 5 day JSJ basic class
  • 25 spaces available for each Zoom Study Group
  • $20 per person per session
  • Register/ pay below for a chosen date
  • Study group details and the Zoom link will be sent to you
  • If you are unable to attend the live presentation, recordings of the sessions will be available for 3 months
  • There are no refunds

Sara Harper JSJ Instructor

Sara Harper lives in Tucson, Arizona with her family. Sara received her first session with Mary Burmeister when she was fourteen in 1973. She has studied with Mary since 1983 and has been a Jin Shin Jyutsu instructor since 1992.

Mona Harris JSJ Instructor

Mona Harris was born and raised in southern Germany and has been studying Jin Shin Jyutsu since 1992. She has taught regular Self-Help classes since 1997, and begun teach Living The Art in 2004. She is fluent in English, German, and French and utilizes her language skills as a translator for Jin Shin Jyutsu seminars and classes.

Jed has been a Physical Therapist since 1977 specializing in pediatric rehabilitation. He began studying Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1981 with Mary Burmeister & has been working with Jin Shin Jyutsu exclusively since 1987. He joined the faculty of Jin Shin Jyutsu Inc, in 1995.

Waltraud Riegger-Krause JSJ Instructor

Waltraud Riegger-Krause grew up in Calw, in the Northern Black Forest. During a break in the USA in 1985 and studying Far Eastern modalities for the treatment and harmonization of humans, I met Mary Burmeister and attended my first Jin Shin Jyutsu 5-day course with her. Deeply touched by the spirituality and mindfulness of her teaching and deeply impressed by this Japanese art of life and healing, I studied this art for several years, five of them with Mary Burmeister herself. Since 1995, I have been authorized by Jin Shin Jyutsu Inc. to teach Jin Shin Jyutsu courses worldwide.

Anita stumbled upon the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu 36 years ago. It was love at first sight (touch). As a professional dancer and choreographer living in NYC, JSJ was a godsend in reducing her stress and balancing her active lifestyle. Since becoming an instructor in 2002, she has taught worldwide and continues to love teaching the physio-philosophy and practice of JSJ.

Ian Harris JSJ Instructor

Ian Harris spent his early years playing and studying music and riding his bicycle for fun and work, and studying Tai Chi, Meditation, eastern philosophy and yoga – in pursuit of a deeper awareness of himself and the universe. In 1982 he was introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu to receive sessions and soon thereafter attended his first seminar with Mary Burmeister.

Susan Schwartz JSJ Instructor

Susan was trained as a special education teacher, a social worker and a clinical psychologist, as well as being a Docent at the Baltimore Museum of Art. In 1982 she began studying with Mary Burmeister, fell in love with Jin Shin Jyutsu, established a practice and began teaching Self-Help to share her passion. Susan joined the JSJ Inc. faculty in 2002 and began to teach around the world.

Chus Arias JSJ Instructor

Chus Arias is a Medical Practitioner, Acupuncturist and Kinesiologist. She has also studied Anthroposophical Medicine. Always looking for a different understanding of the healing process she deepens into the relationship between self-knowledge and healing. Finding Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1996 is the answer to that search.
